Bow Wow School was added to the services at Bow Wow Boutique in 1999 to help our clients with their pets. Many clients were having trouble finding qualified dog trainers to help them with their training issues. Most of the time the questions were about house training, teaching their dog to walk on a leash, not to jump on people and not to run out the door when it was opened. Out of the advice and training help for our clients in the groom shop Bow Wow school was born.

Ann Isenhour has been training her own dogs for about 15 years and had also been conducting beginner classes with a local dog training club for about 5 years. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the Carolinas Trainer Forum.

Clicker Training

Individual training sessions - each session is approximately one hour in length. We suggest a minimum of 3 sessions in a six week period.

This training package is $150.00 and we can come to your home or you can bring your pet to Bow wow Boutique to train in our fenced training area which ever you prefer.

If you only want one session the cost is $60.00. Either way you and your dog will be much happier after you and your four legged friend have completed the training.

Please let us know the particulars you want us to work on with you and your dog and we will taylor private training sessions to your specific needs.

We can also help you with Canine Manners which is intended for the average pet owner who wants to teach their dog basic manners such as sit, down, come and to walk on a leash without pulling.

This class is not intended for pets that have behavior problems such as dog aggression.

If you are interested in behavior modification classes please call for individualized special training that will help you to train your dog to have better behavior and make your four legged friend and happier and healthier dog.

Agility for Fun - is taught in the training area beside Bow Wow boutique. This training is not intended to get you ready for competition, but to teach you a safe way to have fun with your dog.

Your dog will learn agility and how to respond to your commands. Giving him or her exercise and precious time with you enjoying each others company as well as doing something that you both will enjoy.
